Racine Historic/Racine Christmas House provide the Racine community with an annual Holiday Showcase for Cancer fund raiser that runs 12/9/06-12/22/06 for the benefit of the American Cancer Society. It is a grand tradition that will provide you with a getaway, a donation to a great cause, and a treat that you will want to participate in year after year!This grand historic inn opens its beautiful suites and common areas for multiple, daily tours hosted by volunteers and the inn staff. One of the most popular is the tour of The Coach House--Santa's Workshop.
All tours prior to 6:00PM include admission to classic entertainment in the Iceland Theater including "The Real Stories of Santa Claus" and Charles Dickens' adaptation of "A Christmas Carol."
During the remainder of the year, Racine Historic Inn can accommodate group meetings, weddings and receptions, special events, and just a couple seeking a romantic getaway to a fabulous old mansion. Business and leisure travelers will be treated to great hospitality in this grand, old house built in the late 19th Century.
Located one block off of Lake Michigan in the architecturally-rich area of downtown it is easily accessed from Chicago or Milwaukee for a fabulous weekend or longer getaway.
