The Trumpeter Inn Bed and Breakfast, one of San Juan Island's premier lodging establishments since 1989, is located just a 1-1/2 miles from the picturesque town of Friday Harbor in Washington State. Situated amongst the rolling hills of the fertile San Juan Valley, our B&B is surrounded by ponds, meadows and pristine marshlands, abundant with wildlife.

Fall and Spring, particularly, offer a unique opportunity for our guests to enjoy premier birding around our 5 acre San Juan Island pastoral estate, designated an official Backyard Wildlife Sanctuary, and in the Ackley Pond and Marshland adjacent to our Inn, where trumpeter swans, dabbling ducks and other wetland species nest during the winter months.
