Brightwater House is on the site of an 1882 homestead, but evidence demonstrates that this prime spot has been habitated for thousands of years. This secluded homestead was purchased in 1990 by the Chesmores to create a refuge for people seeking natThe bedrooms are spacious with comfortable sitting areas. One room has a fireplace, another an outside entrance to a deck looking over the river. Rooms include queen-sized beds and good reading lamps. One room has a additional single bed and one a pull-out queen couch for an extra person.

Without leaving the property, guests can enjoy hiking trails, bird watching, relaxing on the river beach and fishing. Deer, elk, and coyotes are regular visitors.
