Bed and Breakfast Inn Description

The Inn is a charming rather grand farmhouse. Our curved front porch with rocking chairs is the perfect place for sippin g morning coffee or afternoon lemonade and watching the river. We are situated on one of the most picturesque areas of the Connecticut River Scenic Byway. The river abounds with wildlife. We have resident bald eagles that often sit across from the Inn watching the river. There are beaver, and otters, deer and an occasional moose. Birders will enjoy the variety of songbirds and water fowl that can be found. We even have loons on the river.

Maplemont Farm has 43 rolling acres. While we do not milk cows, we do have a variety of animals. Our pasture contains two docile Belgian draft horses, Annie and Amy, and if you don't mind their company you can take a nice hike and enjoy the views from atop the hill.We have a Bernese Mountain dog , Yuri. He is VERY friendly. Our menagerie includes a cat named Wallie and a goat named Peeete.
