Welcome to the Woldert-Spence Manor! We are a historic landmark restored to its prior beauty, and the closest lodging facility to the downtown Tyler square. We have a total of 7 guest rooms, 6 in the main house (2 downstairs and 4 upstairs) and 1 carriage house in the back. All rooms have private bathrooms with wall-mounted hairdryers, cable TV , and wireless (WIFI) internet access. Most rooms have queen-size beds, and are available with fireplaces and private porches or balconies. Plus, all of our rates include an all-you-can-eat country breakfast for 2, served to you in our lovely formal Dining Room. In our Parlor, you can enjoy the company of other guests, or have a quiet moment with a good book from our selection of books.Looking for something to do while in Tyler? Other than being here for a special occasion, there are many upcoming events and year-round activities that you can plan your trip around. They include Canton First Monday Trade Days weekend, which is always the weekend before the first Monday of every month! The Woldert-Spence Manor wants to ensure the most pleasant stay possible and we understand that when the family is going on vacation or being relocated, you don’t want to leave family members behind. This is why The Woldert-Spence Manor has a pet policy so that all your loved ones can be included. This is for "small" dogs only, and only for stays in the guest carriage house. When you bring a pet, there will be a non-refundable cleaning fee charged upon check-in on the first night. This charge will be $25 dollars for each night of your stay but will not exceed $175. Beyond this, please be respectful of other guests and be sure to stay attentive of your pet.
