Longhorn Resort on beautiful Lake LBJ in Kingsland, Texas has everything you need for a perfect weekend or longer vacation. Lake LBJ is a normally constant level lake that is perfect for boating, water skiing, jetskiing, fishing and swimming.Longhorn Resort is located 60 minutes northwest of Austin and 90 minutes north of San Antonio. The resort is a 4 to 4 1/2 hour drive from Dallas, Ft. Worth, and Houston.
The Longhorn Resort takes pride in providing families with a friendly Texas welcome, excellent service, and a memorable vacation. Lee and Michelle Lawrence are dedicated to making your stay a pleasurable experience that you will want to repeat.
You can dock your boat in our boat docks. If you don't have a boat or jet ski, you can rent one locally.

Kids and grownups can play basketball and horseshoes, or swim at the lakeside sandy beach area or in the swimming pool.
Our 14 Cabins come in three sizes:
1 room, 2 rooms, 4 room lake house, and 5 room poolside house, which provide comfortable sleeping for two people to eight people.
Longhorn Resort cabins provide a clean, home-like atmosphere and vacation convenience. Each guest cabin has a complete kitchenette. Colorful linens are provided and may be exchanged daily.
Picnic tables and barbecue grills are provided for outdoor picnics.
