Nestled among large, shady oak trees in the center of a large city block, The Calvert Inn was built between 1904 and 1906, entirely of native cypress and is now in one of the state's largest National Historic Districts. Porch swings, rockers, lush gardens complete with a charming koi pond and fountain in the front circle drive area, invite you to stay close to the house. Inside, the eight coal-burning fireplaces, beautiful grand piano and other fine appointments add to the romantic ambiance.
