Bed and Breakfast Inn Description

Mehard Manor is a superb example of the Adam style of Georgian Colonial architecture. The 5800 sq ft home was constructed in 1913 for Samuel S. Mehard, a prominent Mercer County judge and attorney. Fortunately, the house has been preserved in almost its original condition, allowing a glimpse into what would have been an elegant lifestyle of an earlier period. The spacious size and flowing design of the house provide the ideal adaptation to a bed and breakfast.
The four guest rooms are located on the second floor at the four corners of the house, ensuring quiet and private accommodations. The guest rooms are furnished with a blend of antiques, reproductions, and personal treasures to provide comfort as well as wistful memories of the past. The furnishings and accessories are coordinated to convey a different theme for each room. All guest rooms are air conditioned and have private baths.
