We are on the south edge of the Gettysburg National Military Park in a section called the South Cavalry Battlefield. From here, it is about two miles to Pickett's Charge, and less to Little Round Top and the Wheatfield.
Gettysburg also has wonderful boutiques and galleries, about five miles from our inn. In addition there is an Outlet Mall about two miles from the inn.
Gettysburg is five miles from the Emmitsburg Emergency Training Center, Mount St. Mary's College, and the Grotto of Lourdes.
The National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg is about 35 minutes away. Antietem and Harpers Ferry are about 1 1/2 hours from here.
