From The Inn's large front porch you will see eastbounds completing their climb to the Gallitzin Tunnels. At Cresson, westbounds begin their long descent to Johnstown. Intermodal trains, merchandise freights, auto racks, coal drags, double stacks, and Amtrak trains roll by regularly. The Inn is 150 feet from the Norfolk Southern tracks.
The Inn has five two-room suites, each furnished with three 40 by 80 twin beds and a private bath. Weary railfans can end their day in the likes of the PRR Room and B&O Room. Most rooms at The Inn have a view of the mainline.
