Albrightsville is actually the mailing address. The Bed and Breakfast is located in downtowm Meckesville.Downtown Meckesville used to be in the middle of nowhere; but then we realized that would be a destination, so we moved the sign. Now we are just down the road from the middle of nowhere. Albrightsville is a bit farther away and is on the road to Hickory Run State Park, one of Pa's largest.This pet friendly Bed and Breakfast features suites and individual rooms with private baths. Paintball, rafting trips and miles of scenic local roads attract visitors year round. Winter sports are nearby and summer recreation abounds. Beltsville Lake is nearby and the Inn has a canoe and life jackets available for guest use. We have a sauna and indoor whirlpool to ease the aches and pains and also, a game room. Our guests often enjoy browsing local garage sales and many of the small shops scattered throughout the area. There are also miles of trails and fishing streams just minutes from this locale. The small town of Lehigh Tannery is just the other side of Hickory Run State Park and provides access to a canal side hiking and biking trail which extends from White Haven to Glen Onoco and the Lehigh River.The NASCAR races, Pennsylvania 500 and Pocono 500 are yearly events which usually require reservation a year in advance. Big Boulder and Jack Frost ski areas also host in the off season, wine tasting, beer tasting, a blues fest, rock fest and other special weekend activities. Many Country Western personalities appear at the nearby Penn's Peak. Local restaurants abound and are very good and reasonably priced.
