Put-in-Bay is a seasonal resort community located in Lake Erie. Put-in-Bay is an island and service to the island is provided by the Jet Express Ferry boat http://www.jet-express.com. The Jet Express maintains a fleet of four high speed aluminum hull boats that can transport up to 350 people per trip. These vessels are US Coast Guard approved and operated by licensed captains.
The island is open from April 1st to the end of October. Put-in-Bay features many family oriented attractions including caves, state parks, winery tours and museums. One of the most prominent and visited attractions on the island is the Perry Peace Memorial, the 3rd tallest monument in the USA. The island is also host to the Adventure Bay amusement park that offers family activities such as batter cages, bumper boats, and go cart rides. Abundant shopping is located in the downtown area.
The island features over 30 great restaurants with a very wide variety of menus, many serve Lake Erie Walleye and Perch. There is a never ending array of nightlife with many locations featuring live entertainment with nationally know touring acts.

Golf carts vary in size and include 2,4, 6 and 8 person configurations. You can rent these vehicles by the hour, day or overnight. Golf carts are fully equipped with headlights tail lights and seat belts. Other means of transportation are mopeds and bicycles.
De Rivera Park located downtown Put-in-Bay hosts many events geared towards families including art in the park and free concerts. The Ohio State University maintains the Stone laboratory which is open to the public for tours.
