This gracious and stately home, built in 1927 as a holiday retreat for a wealthy Philadelphia family, has been totally renovated and artfully restored by its present owners, Dick and Mimi Beatty, who opened Knollwood House as a Bed and Breakfast in 1991. Since then, it has become one of the areas' premiere Bed and Breakfast "experiences." Set on five acres, amidst azaleas, holly trees, long leaf pines and towering magnolias, this English manor-style home is as beautifully decorated inside as it is landscaped without.
