Hendersonville, North Carolina is a wonderful vacation spot. Centrally located to many of Western North Carolina's most popular attractions it's the ideal place to stay for several days or a week and take in all the area has to offer. Some of the places we recommed visiting are the Flat Rock Playhouse, Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock Park, Lake Lure, DuPont State Forest, & Pisgah National Forest. Each of these area attractions are thirty minutes or less from Hendersonville.

Don't miss the chance to walk downtown and experience the unique shops and wonderful restaurants. Shops inlcude clothing boutiques, antique stores, unique gift shops, and a Mast General Store to name a few. There is a wide variety, sure to please everyone's taste. Dining options range from sandwich shops to fine dining with everything in between.
Downtown Hendersonville offers several street fairs, festivals & special events throughout the year. Spring kicks off with the Garden Jubilee Festival with plant vendors and demonstations. Summer offerings include weekly Music on Main Street and Street Dances, Antique and Art Shows, and Bearfootin' in Hendersonville (a summertime display of decorated bears). The largest festival is the NC Apple Festival held Friday - Monday on Labor Day Weekend each year. Eight blocks of the downtown are are blocked off to street traffic to make room for the 150 + vendors and thousands of visitors.
Hendersonville's climate is pleasant. Snow fall in the winter is rare and is typically less than 3 or 4 inches total. Summer tempatures typically range in the 80's for highs, with morning tempatures in the 50s & 60s.
