Through the efforts of the National Historic Trust and the Landmark Society of Chautauqua County, Western New York we were able to save an important historic Westfield, New York home designed by the nationally known architect, George Barber. The Captain Storm House was moved to Candlelight Lodge bed and breakfast property, two landscaped acres in the heart of the village of Westfield New York. The Captain Storm House is now a Country Inn within walking distance of antique shops, stores, gift shops and restaurants. The two Inns are the only B&B's within the village of Westfield NY. Five miles south is Chautauqua Lake and Mayville NY, the Captain Storm House bed and breakfast is minutes from Chautauqua Institution and Chautauqua NY.
