Whether you ride a Harley Davidson, a Honda, a Yamaha, a Suzuki, a BMW or a Victory motorcycle, you will enjoy a ride on Long Beach Island to the Island Guest House Bed and Breakfast Inn. Here at the Bed and Breakfast you can always join us in conversations pertaining to past and future motorcycle day and weekend trips. We enjoy socializing with other biker guests who come to our motorcycle friendly bed and breakfast, who have a common interest such as ourselves. We have a 2004 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail along with a matching painted trailer that we pull behind to carry our luggage when we travel during the off season. We have made many friends over the years who we ride with whenever we get the chance to. When we take a ride on our motorcycle; we avoid the interstate highways and try to find the winding, curving rural roads to enjoy our hobby to its utmost. Our guests come from all of New Jersey as well as New Jersey’s neighboring states by motorcycles. There are many routes that lead up to LBI, however there is only one way on and one way off of the island.

Pet Policies at the Island Guest House B&B Cottage In this day and age, more people consider their pets, especially dogs, as family members and wish to include them in their vacation. Now you can bring your furry friend with you here at the Island Guest House. The Island Guest House is a pet friendly Bed and Breakfast Inn . Although the main house is pet free, pets are welcome to stay with their owners in our Cottage with advance arrangements. Pets will be welcomed upon arrival with bottled water and biscuits in the room, water and food bowls, and a supply of plastic bags for waste cleanup. When traveling to Long Beach Island, New Jersey, there is now a place to bring your pet with you. The following are our “Pet Policies”: -You must receive advance approval at the time you reserve in order to bring your pet. - We reserve the right to restrict type or size of pet. -Pets must be house trained, socialized to other animals and people. -Pets must have current vaccinations and rabies shots. - The main Inn is pet free, however there is ample space to relax on the grounds with your leashed pet, including breakfasting in our garden. There are also many areas to take your pet out and about for sight seeing, potty, and walks. The park is a great place to frolic! -Owners must clean up pet waste (this applies throughout the town of Beach Haven) and dogs should avoid “doing their business” in the garden courtyard. -Pets must not be left alone in your room when off the premises, and need to be crated when you leave the cottage. -If the pet is on the furniture or beds, they need to be covered. Ask for sheets if you need them. - Please wipe dirty paws, and do not bring wet or sandy pets into the cottage. -Damage and “mistakes” that require cleaning will be charged to the guest’s credit card. -Unsociable pets (excessive barking, chewing, aggression) may be asked to leave without a refund. -Charge is $15.00 per day.

Beach Haven, New Jersey is a bustling community that offers visitors a cornucopia of attractions, from pristine sugar sand beaches on the Atlantic Ocean to antiques shops, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. The adventurous can enjoy the Thundering Surf Waterslide, with water rides and interactive 'squirt works', play miniature golf, charter a boat for deep sea fishing, or rent a bike, trolley, kayak, surf board or scuba gear. Try a boat tour of the scenic bays and inlets along the Jersey shore, or step back in time and take a walking tour of charming Victorian and Seashore Colonial houses constructed before 1900. For a change of pace, board one of the ships at the wharf for a cruise to Atlantic City and a day of gaming. These activities are all within a short walking distance, with ice cream parlors dotted along the way for summer sustenance.
Beach Haven’s Surflight Theatre, just steps away from The Island Guest House, is an invaluable asset to the whole area. Featuring Actors Equity live musical theatre, the season runs from Memorial Day weekend until mid-October, resuming for two weeks in December for a holiday-themed show. A typical season consists of eight or nine musicals and three or four plays. From late June until early September, they also produce 12 weeks of Children's Theatre.
At the other end of the island, don’t miss the old Barnegat Bay Lighthouse (Old Barney).
