Bed and Breakfast Inn Description

Welcome ! The Bed and Breakfast was built in the 1860's for Eliza Sutton as a tourist home on 320 acres of farm land overlooking quiet Center Harbor on Lake Winnipesaukee. It was operated as a dairy farm and one of the first women owned businesses in the area. Local artist Lisa Nelthrop was commissioned to paint a mural depicting Center Harbor Circa 1900 which fills the front hall of the B&B.

The B&B was remodeled several times to employ improvements of each era. The latest 20 month 'cupola to porch' renovation is a wonderful spot that our guest thoroughly enjoy. The kitchen, all bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas have been fully restored, along with the exterior. Fire egress, a conservatory and a wheelchair ramp were also added to the building.
