Here in Squaw Lake MN. you will find genuine people who all care about each other. Within this town you will find several lodging business, although our Lake Home bed and breakfast is the only B & B in the area. This is our second lodging business in this town and the locals know and support our new Lake Home bed and breakfast business. The town has two very nice Retaurant/Bar establishments (Crow Bar & The Hill) for all the locals and tourists looking for good food and very decent prices. We have one store in town The Max Store) we are always raving about them and how they have everything from food & gas to plumbing parts and souvenirs. If you need your car fixed we have Art who will tow you when your stuck and then fix the repairs while his wife Mary next door will cut your hair while your waiting. The town of Squaw Lake hosts many unique and fun events such as St. Uhro's parade, rubber ducky races, sled dog races, wild game feeds, perch jerker contests, many fire hall fund raisers and there is so much more great stuff to do. I am a member of a great group called 'Women of the Woods' which has over 100 members. We meet twice a month and basically we do it all, everything from crafts to bus trips to all sorts of different places. We have groomed snow mobile trails going right thru town and we are known for having them always groomed better than any place else. My Lake Home Bed and Breakfast is 10 miles from town but we are hugely a part of this great community. We couldn't be in a better town than Squaw Lake.
