Bed and Breakfast Inn Description
This new round Inn is on the waters edge of Dixon Lake in the Chippewa National Forest. We like to paddleboat, canoe, kayak and just relax in the summer here on our small bay of the 670 acre, mostly undeveloped lake. Some of our guests enjoy fishing Dixon or Big Winnie for walleye, crappie, pike, sunnies and bass. Others come for our opera / jazz nights or mosaic classes. Those who want some quiet R & R or something different this is it. This B & B is very different, we have many unique feature such as northern lights on the ceiling which can only be seen at night. Our reading cave is also a nice place to take a long nap as you watch out the window to see all the birds and other wildlife.Our inn house suite is private and has its own kitchen and 3/4 bath, our two guest rooms are elegant and rustic, your choice. The Inns warmth will embrace you and wash all your stress away.
We have daily wine and cheese, a hearty sumptuous breakfast and we offer a sunset cruise around the lake to see the 3 eagles nests, loons, ducks, geese and an occasional moose too. We have a guest kitchenette, game tables, books and 2 large fireplaces. Guests enjoy our plush robes and complimentary slippers, not to mention the new friendships made.
In the cold months we offer over 200 acres of cross country ski trails right out side our doors, with no passes or fees required, and maps to get to groomed snow mobile trails. COME RELAX, STAY AND PLAY WITH US!
