Coleman, Michigan is a great area to live and work. It is 15 miles west of Midland, 15 miles northeast of Mt. Pleasant, 10 miles east of Clare and 15 miles south of Gladwin.
We are the only Coleman Bed & Breakfast in our area. Our Coleman Bed & Breakfast is actually not within the city of Coleman but in the country. Coleman is a small town with a great restaurant " Yesterday's Depot" serving home cooked food. This restaurant was the old railroad depot in town and has been beautifully refurbished. There are two other restaurants besides Yesterday's Depot. There are also a couple of fast food places - Subway and A & W..
Coleman also has a beautiful park with a nice camping area and great shaded playground for children. The old railroad track has been transformed into a 36 mile paved bike trail. The trail is right in front of our Coleman Bed & Breakfast so one could easily ride bikes to our small town of Coleman, as well as Midland and Clare. . .
Coleman has a beautiful Senior Complex with apartments and a service center to accommodate our senior residents. A beautiful Library was recently built to add another attractive addition to our town. The public schools provide education for approximately 950 area students.
Our little town is very attractive. It has a nice streetscape with brick pavers, lamp posts, trees and flowers. You'll find it very attractive when driving through town or stopping off for a visit. The people are always friendly and helpful.
