Bed and Breakfast Inn Description

All 5 buildings on the 10 acre property were flooded by Katrina. Our newly built cottage, the greenhouse, and the equipment barn (housing 10's of thousands of dollars of building tools and lawn equipment) are GONE. The buildings were demolished at our own expense, only the slabs remain.

Because there has been NO grant money for this small business, progress is slow. We have done much of the rebuilding ourselves, that which we can not do, we pay for with savings or by selling off assets that have taken a lifetime to build. There has been some insurance money, but nothing to compare to what is needed.
The Garden Guest House Bed and Breakfast roof is repaired, the house is gutted, the contents of the house hauled out to the road where giant claws crush it and put it in trucks. Dead and dying trees have been cut, so far Paul and Bonnie have spent $27,000 to cut and remove trees.
