Bed and Breakfast Inn Description

The Cottage House has a long and colorful history of serving travelers. The hotel began as a three-room cottage and blacksmith shop, built in 1867, owned by George Biglin. In 1982 the present owners purchased the Hotel, began a gradual refurbishing of the building and grounds and reclaimed the Cottage House name. Today, thanks to loving care and attention to detail, the house stands much as it was in the early days. In 1988, the Cottage House Hotel earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places.
