On the main street of Allerton, you can find the Log Chain Apiary, where honey and honey products are produced right in the retail store showroom. Nearby are antique and gift shops (within 30 miles). Outdoor recreation can be found surrounding Allerton's Bed and Breakfast. Just 2 short miles away, is Bob White State Park. Spend the day walking the well-cleared trails, camping or feasting on a picnic lunch. Just south of town you will find public hunting land that is available to everyone.
