Mango Makai is located on a plateau overlooking Kealakekua Bay, Place of Refuge National Park, and the Kona coastline stretching as far as the southern most point. Located in Captain Cook, in the heart of the famous Kona coffee belt, the grounds of this beautiful estate consist of a lushly landscaped acre planted with tropical fruit trees and many flowering and exotic plants. The location was selected to take advantage of the year round cool ocean breezes to make it a very pleasant place to stay. It is just a ten minute drive to Kealakekua Bay, a favorite for its fantastic swimming, snorkeling, and diving experience. Restaurants, markets, and shops are minutes away. Golf courses are within a fifteen minute drive. Both the Volcano National Park and the Waimea/ Kohala region are an easy days drive.
