We are located 6 miles from Blairsville, GA near riding stables, golf courses, two US Forest scenic byways, Appalachian mountain waterfall hiking trails, and Georgia's highest point--Brasstown Bald.The renovated Victorian farmhouse Inn has 4 spacious rooms with private bath and gas-log fireplace. Pets are welcome in 6 tin-roofed cottages on the wooded mountainside around the Inn. All have full bath, equipped kitchen, wood-burning fireplace and satellite TV. Wi-Fi on property, and lots of information about what to do and see.
Our neighbor owns America's largest O-guage train display. Misty Mountain Model Railroad is 4,000 sq ft with 14 trains travelling over a mile of track on a fantasy journey through Southern Appalachia.
Blairsville hosts several weekend events: 1st Saturday Cruise-In and Friday Concert Series are on-going from May to October. Mountain Gospel Music Festival, and Spring Arts & Crafts Festival in May; Scottish Festival & Highlands Games, and Mountain Fling in June; Butternut Creek Festival in July; Heritage Festival, and SEBA Bluegrass Celebration in September; Indian Summer Festival and Georgia's Official Sorghum Festival in October.
