Daytona Beach is best known for it's drive on beach, people come from around the world to experience it. It is equally known for the Daytona International Speedway, Bill France and Nascar. Many people come to Daytona Beach during the Event weeks. I hear them say they have been to Daytona Beach, but truth is most of them never get to experience Daytona Beach at all. it is the lesser known things that make Daytona Beach Great. Daytona Beach has the Seaside music theatre, Peabody auditorium, symphony, Museum of Art and Science, Daytona Lagoon water park, great little restaurants you wont want to miss like Rossellini's and The Cellar. Fun shops on beach street like the Beach Street Market, or head over to the Ocean walk Shops. At the beach you can go para sailing, scuba diving, surfing, even rent atvs for the beach, since you can drive on it. Once the day is done Daytona Beach has a large variety of night life to suite every ones tastes as well.
