It now boasts it's original high ceilings and wood floors, exuding a sense of Victorian charm: Guests take a step backward in time to a quieter, less complicated era. Located in the historic district of the old Gold Rush town of Weaverville, the hotel has within a two block area Trinity County's Courthouse and Band Stand, an excellent small museum, an historic Chinese temple, a recently restored theatre, several historic churches, several excellent restaurants and shops, including our own 1000 square foot emporium featuring fine chocolates, sterling silver jewelry, European fragrances, and many other gift items. Who are our guests? Couples celebrating anniversaries and birthdays, small wedding parties, small plane pilots, fishermen, couples in need of a brief escape, business travelers, car clubs, retired people, hikers, biologists, and all kinds of other interesting people.
