Eagle has a year around population of 140 people, it is located at the end of the Taylor Highway. Eagle is rich in history about Billy Mitchell, Roald Amunsen, and Judge Wickersham. Fort Egbert is maintained by BLM and the city of Eagle and the Eagle Historical society. Eagle is located on the banks of the Yukon river and you are welcome to come and sit on the millionaire's bench and watch the river go by, swallows skimming the water, and boats. There is no view like it anywhere else. The millionaire's bench is right in front of the B&B, so you can sit on our decks and feel like a millionaire with the view from 3 decks of various height from the Falcon Inn Bed and Breakfast. The Falcon Inn is walking distance from most everything in Eagle. This includes the restaurant, grocery store, park, well house, and historical tour. This is an ideal town and B&B location for you to get off the beaten path for a couple of days and enjoy the quiet and unique old Alaska style town.
